Ennek apropóján most az egyik előadó, Guruprasad Venkatesha beszámolóját olvashatjátok angol nyelven.
StartITup Gyor is an amazing initiative founded by Diána Páti, Krisztian Szabo & Tamas Tuske. The program is once in a month on every Wednesday. I was very honoured to be a part of speakers in the month of September when I presented the "Start-Up Ecosystem of France" and presented my French-Hungarian AI Startup b-cube.ai
The Startup community in Gyor is very promising as everyone is having an idea or already working on the project which was evident during the event. I had the opportunity to meet three other speakers who are doing excellent works in their own line of work.
Firstly there was a speaker from Chile who presented the Startup ecosystem in Chile which was really very interesting given the fact that the initiative was directly from the Government of Chile. This was convincing me that every single country will sooner or later have to start supporting Startups if they have to progress in the competition of economic growth. I was happy to see Chile taking this lead which has similarities with France's BPI. Yet, I felt for someone in Europe to move to Chile will not be so easy as there are enough opportunities here and also to relocate to Chile will be a huge challenge.
Then there was StartupCampus which is a great initiative to help all the local startups in Hungary. This is highly informative for all the startups like me who are based in Hungary. Attila was very kind of explain all the possible help that a Startup can receive from this initiative.
It was the turn of Steven Sudy who is a great mentor and a very good speaker because his words are very clear and to the point. His whole presentation was in Hungarian but still, we could have a good chat at the beginning of the event which made it very clear to me about his mission. I have kept in touch with him ever since and had an opportunity to speak with him on several other occasions during different events organized in Hungary.
Then came my turn to present the Startup Ecosystem of France which is one of the best in Europe as the state is supporting a lot for all the startups. I presented the world's largest startup incubator - Station F and could speak in detail about WILCO accelerator program & how to access the Government funds - BPI France. Then I went ahead presenting my AI Startup which is the first Hedge Fund in Cryptocurrencies which will be managed totally by AI. We are making trading in Cryptocurrency easier and more profitable with just click of a button. Such institutional-grade financial product was never available for the common public so far and this point was highly appreciated by many at the event. Also, many fund houses in Cryptocurrencies have turned out to be a Ponzi scheme but we solved this problem by managing funds of people in their own account and even dare to give them a free trial to test our product. It was amazing to see how people could understand Blockchain related technology easily at the event and several people signed up to test our MVP which is going live at on October 31st 2019. Much more wonderful news was that we have signed two clients from this event who are already paying for using our technology. So this event was really fruitful for our project.
During the Panel discussion, Everyone could answer the questions properly crafted by experienced moderator Paris Noble.
I learned a lot about different Startup ecosystems, got customer feedbacks and had several discussions with prospective customers and if someone is not then understood what needs to be done in order to get them into my business. So all in all, It was an amazing experience and thanks to Tamas Tuske & Krisztian Szabo who are making these amazing events possible here in Gyor. I have a feeling that this city has huge potential due to the talents living here and of course due to the close proximity to Bratislava & Vienna, and everyone in this ecosystem are like one big family.
